technical data

drumbeam is a class compliant usb midi device. its power consumption depends very much on the brightness and color of the leds. with standard brightness settings a typical usb 2 port with 300-450mA power is enough. for the best experience we recommend a stable and well powered connection.

usb-c, trs-midi in + out

drumbeam uses usb-c for sending midi to your daw, plug-in or usb-hosting devices. additionally, there are two trs-ports for midi in and out. this way you can directly connect drumbeam with various samplers, synths or other kind of hardware. we use midi type a.

drumbeam has dimensions of 58 x 3 x 5cm (lenght, width, height) and weighs only slightly more than 800 grams

our configuration app is platform independent and works in every modern browser. just pair your device of choice with drumbeam's wifi network and open drumbeam.local like you would with a classic webpage. thats it - no additional installation needed
