the first drumbeam batch

the first drumbeam batch

To everyone who's now part of the drumbeam community — thank you.

The journey from concept to reality has been remarkable. The first manufacturing run presented challenges as we established a brand-new supply chain and fine-tuned every process until it was reliable. Your patience and support throughout has been incredible and we're deeply grateful.

The results are now tangible: the first 300 drumbeams are out in the world. Seeing our creation on desks, in racks and on stages is truly rewarding. We do want to acknowledge the delivery issues some customers experienced in the US due to new customs regulations. We're actively working to ensure the final few parcels clear customs and reach their destinations in the coming days.

Production is now finding its rhythm. Batch 2 has officially entered production and everything is flowing smoothly without delays.

Meanwhile, we're continuously improving the drumbeam experience. The next firmware update, expected at the end of next week, will introduce several enhancements:

  • Reference manual integration directly within the web app for instant access to information
  • Fixed trigger velocity response to ensure full range of values
  • Extended note lengths for sustained phrases
  • Visible firmware version both in the app and post-update for better transparency

A beta version is already available on our Discord server in the #general channel. While we have many more features planned, we're currently focusing on perfecting the essentials.

If you've already received your drumbeam, we encourage you to explore its capabilities and share your discoveries with us. For those awaiting Batch 2, we're on schedule and will provide updates as production progresses. Haven't joined our Discord community yet? Here's your invitation.

Thank you for being part of this journey so far — it still feels somewhat surreal at times. We never take your trust for granted and remain committed to providing the best possible experience with both our team and drumbeam.
