The one day a year when the internet screams “only today!”, “last chance!” and “up to 80% off!” We are not doing that this year. Instead, we want to tell you why.
Our Black Friday Promise
drumbeam costs the same today as it did yesterday.
Our introductory price is €429 instead of €469. So we are already on a discount. This price is calculated so we can build drumbeam properly, pay people fairly and support you long-term.
So for Black Friday that means:
- No timer, no flash sale, no made-up discount
- No “only 3 hours left”, no pressure tricks
- If you buy a drumbeam it should be because it fits your setup, not because a clock is running out
Why Discounts Hurt Small Companies
Material and shipping costs are rising and international trade and logistics stay shaky. For small businesses this isn’t just an Excel problem, it’s about staying alive.
We feel that:
- We build drumbeam in small batches
- We tweak every little detail and try to refine our firmware, so drumbeam keeps evolving even after it left our hands
- We spend hours every month, staying up top date with tariff policies, export documents and certificates to name just a few
- We’re trying to grow a community around a pretty new instrument, only few people know about at the moment
If we’d slash our prices in half today, the first thing that would break is the ability to keep doing all of that.

Our favourite way for you to meet drumbeam is still offline: In your local music store, where you know the people behind the counter and they help you find the right instrument.
So if your are walking through town this day, why not visit your music shop, play some instruments, talk to the staff. If you feel like it, ask them if they know drumbeam. In Europe we’re already rolling out in retail and we’re working on expanding offline retail globally next year.
